Daisy , Daisy give me your answer do!

This is my first 'just because' card in a while and it's the gorgeous Daisy from Mo's Digital Pencil.

I teamed her with some Prima papers, Annalee, and used my Pansy Punch Around the Page set from Martha Stewart,  a Marianne branch die and some Shabby Pink Frantage.

Haven't felt alot like card-making recently, feeling a bit sad about our house move not progressing, but must admit to looking forward to being out of work in 8 weeks time!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Passion for Promarkers Summer Loving

I'm keeping up with my summer theme at the minute and today we have a new challenge over on Passion for Promarkers and I chose a theme of Summer Loving- anything you love about summer. I love this Mo image Shucks, as it reminds me of a lovely summer's day we had with our youngest daughter a few years ago, picking veg!
My papers are from an Authentique pad called Genuine, the daisies are cut with a Memory Box die set and the tag is a heart shaped one by Magnolia.  And of course I've used my Promarkers and Flexmarkers to colour her.
Our sponsors for this challenge are Whiff of Joy and the lucky winner will get a stamp of their choice!

As always, my teamies have made some brill summer-inspired cards to share with you, so take a peek at them here.xx

July Mo Blog Hop

Hey there bloggers - it's that time of the month again for a hop on through the blogs of the girlies on Mo's Dream Team!  This month's theme of Water has been chosen by the delectable Debby and she is also the start of our hop.  Nip on back over to  Debby's blog, if you want to start at the beginning!  I know Debby will have a fab make to share with you!  Otherwise, you should have arrived here from the fabulous Gretha's blog.

I've actually used two images and merged them together in Photoshop.  To see a great tutorial on how to do this, visit the blog of Debbie Pamment, a lovely and much missed ex-member of Mo's Dream Team - I always visit to remind me how to merge and it really is easy if you follow Debbie's tut!  I've merged Clam Diggers with the actual beach scene from Mo's set called Beach Elements 1. (And I'm a little bit cross as I could have used a couple of the other elements in the set too for my card if I'd thought about it!)

I've coloured the images with a mix of Promarkers and Shinhan Touch Markers, and added a touch of glitter to the beach and the white foam of the sea for a bit of texture. Can you see that I also added a Memory swirly border diecut just  behind the image and tried to line it up with the sea line so it continues out of the frame!  I also added some Copic blender to a face cloth and dabbed it on the beach to give a grainy look, I hope! My papers are a mix of Lili of the Valley NitWit papers, Beach Bliss and Graphic 45 papers, To the Beach.

I love this Lighthouse die from Cheery Lynn and I also added some teeny house dies from Memory Box and coloured them in pastel shades to look like beach huts. The little butterfly shaped shell and the cone shell were from best matey Lesley's visit to the Florida Beaches, with everything else from stash.

Right, now I'm the end of the hop this month but I hope you've enjoyed it and left some love on each of the girls' posts as there are a couple of $5 vouchers up for grabs for two lucky commentors!! The full order of the hop is below should you need it!

In case anyone is wondering, my house move has stalled at the minute, as our buyer has lost his buyer, sob!!  Keep everything crossed for us that it all gets back on track soon!!

Passion for Promarkers with Mo's Strongman

Another card from me today - wow, two posts in two days - I feel faint!!
This card is for today's new challenge starting today over at a Passion for Promarkers and we have a great theme of  Oh I Do Love To Be Beside The Seaside!

Strongman from Mo's Digital Pencil is perfect for this theme don't you think!  Probably more likely to see this speciman on a Californian beach rather than Clacton-on-Sea here in the UK but he does make me smile!  I then created the sentiment with Word Art!
The  papers are from a Tilda seaside theme set, and the sentiment arrow is a Sizzix die.  The music die is from Memory Box and I cut the image out using a Go Kreate die.
We have two fab sponsors for this week's Challenge, Letraset and Crafty Sentiments.

Sketch N Stash new challenge and apologies for my absence!

Hey there blogland, so sorry for not being about.  We're in the midst of moving and it is just so stressful, especially as we haven't moved for 25 years, we're hoping to move 330 miles away and we have to find flats for our girls and work out our notices!!  It's fraught with danger, I tell you!!
Still I did manage to find a little colouring time to make this card for today's new challenge at Sketch N Stash.  It's free choice on the sketch too - you can pick any sketch from our back catalogue here over at
SNS HQ.
I've pick sketch no 70 and used this lovely little chappie from Mo's Digital Pencil called Extra.  I thought I'd continue the paper theme by using papers from my scraps with newsprint/script print.

The corner happy birthday is a  Die-Versiions Die, and the top and bottom edging are cut with a Tim Holtz strip die. Hope you like my little newspaper too that I made up with my leftover scraps of paper.
Oooh and our challenge this time runs for a month, to allow for summer holidays and other summer activities, so you have plenty of time to join in with us.  We have two awesome sponsors for this challenge as below:

Sponsor - Stitchy Bears
Prize $10

&
Buttons For Brains

Well, wish me luck and keep your fingers crossed that our move all goes according to plan, we need it!
Before I go, don't forget to take a peek at the other SNS DT cards here - they are fabby!!
